QR Code Landing Pages: Create a Mobile Page Without a Website

Create a simple mobile-friendly landing page and connect it to a QR code. Share links, images, contact details, promotions, event information and more, without building or hosting a separate website.

The quick answer

A QR code landing page gives people a mobile-friendly page when they scan your QR code. Instead of building a separate website, you can create the page with GenQRCode, add your content, and connect it directly to a dynamic QR code.

What is a QR code landing page?

A landing page QR code opens a mobile page made for the people scanning it. You do not need an existing website. GenQRCode lets you create both the QR code and the page people see after scanning it.

URL QR code: you already have a webpage, and the QR code links to it.

Landing page QR code: you create the destination page in GenQRCode, then connect it to a dynamic QR code. No separate website is required.

1. Build your page

Add your title, description, images and links in the page editor.

2. Connect a QR code

3. Share the mobile page

Why use a QR landing page?

No website needed

Create a page for people scanning your QR code without arranging separate hosting or building a complete website.

Designed for mobile

Give phone users a focused page with clear links, readable text and an arrangement that adapts to a small screen.

Update your content later

Save changes to the page and all linked QR codes use the updated content. Keep the same printed code when you change a promotion, image or link.

Understand your scans

Use the connected dynamic QR code’s analytics to review recorded scans, scan activity over time, countries and platforms. Scan counts are not a count of unique people.

What can you put on your landing page?

New pages currently use the Social / profile builder. Add a title, description, logo/profile image, cover image, links and optional phone/email details. Links can point to a website, social profile, App Store or Google Play listing. Reorder links or hide them temporarily.

How to create a QR code landing page

Start in Landing pages. Sign in and verify your account before saving. Your plan sets your landing-page and dynamic QR code allowances.

  1. Create your landing page. Select Create page, choose Social / profile, and select Start editing. You can also reach the builder from the Landing Page option in the QR generator.
  2. Add your content. In Content, add a title, description and logo/profile image. Use Add content for links and social profiles, and add phone/email details if useful.
  3. Customize and save your page. In Design, choose a page design, add a cover image and adjust the colors, font and button style. Check the preview and your internal page name under Connect QR, then select Save changes. Saving updates any QR codes already connected to this page immediately.
  4. Connect and customize your QR code. In Connect QR, enter a QR code name, choose an available domain, and select Create dynamic QR code. Then select Customize QR code to open the generator and design your code.
  5. Download and test. Download the QR code in your chosen format. Scan it with a real phone, open each link and check the complete page before printing or publishing. You can later edit the page without replacing that QR code.

There is no separate public page address or draft/publish switch in the current builder. Visitors reach the page through its connected QR code. Preview your edits before saving changes to a page that is already in use.

QR landing page ideas

  • Product packaging: share care instructions, support details and a link to accessories.
  • Restaurant menus: put a short introduction and a link to your current menu on table cards.
  • Events and posters: show the date and location, with a registration link.
  • Flyers and brochures: give readers a focused next step instead of a long web address.
  • Business cards: bring contact information, a website and social profiles together.
  • Promotions and coupons: display an offer and its terms, with a link to redeem it.
  • Product instructions/manuals: link to a guide, tutorial or troubleshooting page.
  • Real estate signs: show a property introduction, contact details and a link to the listing.

Landing page QR code vs. website QR code

Choose where the destination page is created.
Feature Website QR Landing Page QR
Existing website needed Yes, a destination webpage No
Destination created in GenQRCode No Yes
Mobile-focused Depends on the website Yes
Content can be changed On your website; a dynamic QR can also change the destination URL Yes, save changes in the page builder
Best for Existing webpages Scan-specific content

A static URL QR code keeps the same address, but the owner can still edit the webpage at that address. A dynamic QR code lets you change its destination. A GenQRCode landing page lets you edit the destination content directly in your account.

Tips for a better QR landing page

  • Give the page one clear purpose.
  • Keep the copy short and easy to skim.
  • Move the most important link near the top.
  • Use clear button labels, such as “View menu” or “Book a visit”.
  • Choose clear, well-cropped images that read well on a phone.
  • Avoid overwhelming visitors with too many links.
  • Test the page and every button on a real phone.
  • Print a clear invitation next to the QR code, such as “Scan for the menu”.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a website to create a QR code landing page?

No. Create the destination page directly with GenQRCode. You do need a GenQRCode account to save and manage it.

Can I edit my landing page after printing the QR code?

Yes. Save your changes in the landing-page builder and connected dynamic QR codes use the new content. The printed QR code does not need to change. Your page and QR code remain subject to your account’s normal availability and plan conditions.

Can I add images and links to my landing page?

Yes. The current Social / profile builder supports a logo/profile image and a cover image, plus up to 30 links. You can add phone/email details and choose social, website or app-store links. It is not an unrestricted image gallery.

Will the landing page work on mobile phones?

The page layouts adapt to phone screens. Visitors open the destination in their browser after scanning. Check your chosen layout, images and links on a real device before sharing.

Can I see how many people scan my landing page QR code?

You can view recorded scans for the connected dynamic QR code in GenQRCode’s analytics, including activity over time, countries and platforms. Repeated scans may come from the same person, so these are scan counts rather than unique visitor totals.

What is the difference between a landing page QR code and a URL QR code?

A URL QR code sends someone to a webpage you already have. A Landing Page QR code lets you create the destination page directly with GenQRCode and connect it to a dynamic QR code.

Ready to create your landing page?

Build a mobile-friendly page, connect it to your QR code, and give people exactly what they need after they scan, without creating a separate website.
